Do cockroaches bite?? l have always wondered. l do not have a roach problem, l was just curious.

I've never had one bite me; but I've seen the big American roaches chew through some pretty tough stuff.

Apparently they can, although I have not experienced it. The bites are supposedly harmless, however. This according to the MD who wrote for emedicine.com.
And if you have not had a roach problem, you're fortunate. The folks who live in the tropics joke that they can train and put a saddle on the things.
