l have been seeing cockroaches and l guess tiny babies in my kitchen.l knew they were here within my first month. But the last two weeks its become l guess an infestation. How much does it cost to take care of?Can l treat just my apt, or does the entire apt building need to be treated? What am l doing to cause them to grow? l am very clean, but my apt is only 280sq ft, so am l being unaware of some carelessness, or was it just bound to happen eventually?

How much and how do I get rid of cockroaches

Boric acid is very effective when used properly for killing cockroaches. You can also get a house lizard, they are natural enemies and will eat them.

Use HIT to kill them. U just spray it at night in the places where u feel those cockroaches are. Next morning u can see the result. I too had this problem

there is no way out..it seems the whole apt is infested.its very difficult (if not impossible) to get rid of these creatures.they r extremely adaptive to any conditions of extreme cold & heat..(interestingly cockroaches r the only creatures which can survive in a nuclear explosion.) u may get rid of these temporarily..but they will rise again..its the problem of entire apt.

best thing is CHANGE THE APT. if u can.may sound awkward but thats the only permanent solution..

no amount of pest control will work if the entire apt is infested..hygeine at ur level is just not enough.
.sewerlines, leaking & corrugated pipes & old construction r best abode of cockroaches..apart form filthy smell they also cause diseases..in worst cases these will raid ur bathroom & bedrooms as well..

Notify ur landlord. All apartments should be taken care of at the same time. However, u will probably still have issues. The best thing we ever used was boric acid powder. We squirted it all the way around the apartment where the walls met the floor. Also in cabinets & on countertops (at the seams). You need to leave it for a while & so if u have kids-not ur solution- but we had cats at the time & had no trouble. The other thing that worked well was good old Combat Roach Traps. Best of luck to you!
